I have always loved this look even if it was a top that only revealed one shoulder but have always dreaded the strapless bra that was required to wear the look. It's pretty evident that Olivia Palermo nails it every single time when it comes to style. In my opinion she always looks impeccable and completely effortlessly chic in everything she wears. Sign Of The Times

While popping in a few of the local boutiques on Nantucket I cam across the lovely mother of pearl zodiac necklaces below. I was quickly smitten with them even though I am not one to truly follow the  signs of the stars or their meanings etc. I simply loved their style and the layering option of adding a loved ones sign on top of yours. It's sort of the spiritual sister to the initial necklace trend that I also love. I put together a little round up of some other zodiac items ranging from beauty items to home decor.

Monogram Me

I love me a monogram, especially when I got my husbands last name, I was quick to change everything over to my new initials. It can make a gift feel more special when it's personalized and these days what was normally reserved for the preppy types, there are a lot of chic ways to have your initials in home decor and accessories. What A Handful!

Earlier this month this little blog celebrated its second birthday. Over seven hundred posts later I took a little trip down memory lane at a few of my first posts that are admittedly horrific in their presentation but the ideas behind them I still stand behind. Weekend Wear - The Statement Shoe

While in NYC earlier in the week I stopped in the J.Crew Collection store on the Upper East Side. I love stopping in there to see some of their higher end line in person and to try on what is usually not available in the Boston stores. While I was there I picked up a patch print pump that I am completely obsessed with. They are so not my typical purchase but I really think they will turn one of my typical all black outfits into something a little more fun. While they aren't available online, you can call the store to order. J.Crew is definitely a favorite for stylish footwear for me so I thought I would put together a fun weekend look with another one of their fabulous printed pumps. I love pairing a casual sweater and denim along with a dressier shoe and accessories for a night out on the town.

Weekend Wear - Welcome Spring

When the warmer weather finally decides to grace us with it's presence I know I will be breaking out some of my favorite spring items that always include my beloved denim jacket to throw over a summery dress. That AG jacket was by far one of my best investments, it has the perfect amount of stretch to keep the look of the jacket fitted instead of boxy and the color pairs so well with other blues. This is key seeing I wear tons of navy come Spring. I love that little white dress below for it's knee length hem. Not everything needs to be a mini to be attractive. This flowy dress will translate well into many looks through the spring and into summer with a thong sandal and fedora. What are you dying to break out of your closet come warmer weather???
