A Signature Welcome

As wedding season quickly approaches brides everywhere are putting the final touches on their big day. You know all the last minute details that make the day extra special for their guests. One element that is always a big hit for the attendees is the welcome gift in the hotel room for the celebratory weekend. It is often filled with local treats for the guests to enjoy during their stay or the essentials for the recovery the morning after. They require quite a bit of assembly, organizing and effort to get delivered {we literally ran around Newport an entire day to get ours delivered to all the hotels during our wedding}. So when I saw the beautiful packaging and carefully curated favors that a company in Charleston was offering, I was instantly smitten with everything they were doing. A Signature Welcome offers the loveliest of welcome gifts for your favorite people in the prettiest packaging and all with delicious content. I am obsessed with their presentation and thoughtful preparation to make this the ultimate treat for your wedding guests. Just take a look at their stunning images to get an idea of what they do...oh did I mention they do corporate gifting too? I am totally bookmarking for future events and gifts!

Mapped Out

When it comes to personalization mapped out details are everywhere these days. So when my friend Lauren introduced me to the site Maptote I was in for a serious dose of pre-made goodness. The Brooklyn based company is backed by a husband and wife duo that were inspired by reusable grocery bags given to them while traveling in Germany. They since have expanded their reusable totes to a plethora of other goodies including wine bags, t-shirts, cosmetic pouches, paper goods and so much more. A few of my favorites representing NY, Boston & DNS are below.

The Wedding Chicks

During my eighteen month engagement there were many daily wedding blogs that I had to browse before I even opened my work email. They provided such amazing inspiration for our big day that I every so often revisit some of them to see what's new in the world of wedding. One of the ones that I spent some significant time on was The Wedding Chicks. Whether it was a styled shoot or a real wedding it was always a pretty place to get my daily dose of everything wedding. When I recently stumbled upon their shop on their blog I quickly bookmarked for revisiting to share with you all. Check out some of my favorite goodies that are deigned by the folks behind the blog!

Fabulous Favor

It's no surprise that the idea of having a signature cocktail at any soiree is a must have these days. I have done them at 40th birthdays, farewell parties, and even in our own wedding. I have loved them each and every time and so have the guests.  Creating a catchy name along with a concoction that represents your favorite spirits is a fun way to add a personal touch to your event along with letting your guests know a little something about you and your other half. This had me thinking of other ways to incorporate a "signature cocktail" in your event and what I came up with was a favor everyone would love. The combination of your favorite drink along with well thought out details like a custom recipe card, your new married name on bottle tags, glassware and straws for enjoying and voila you  have yourself one fabulous favor that is memorable and something that everyone will enjoy. Just pick your favorite liquor and get creative on the gift giving...Cheers!

frayed

I first fell in love with the fringed look when I laid eyes on the beautiful creations made by Confetti Systems and Geronimo Balloons. However their price points can be a bit high for party decor, which is why I was thrilled to stumble upon the queen of DIY, inspiration for all things fringed and frayed in stylish party decor. Everything from balloon tassels, backdrops, cake toppers, bouquets and more, there are numerous options to use this shredded tissue in chic ways.

Are you as obsessed with this look as I am???

This cake is insanely gorgeous.

A natural looking wrap for your bouquet would be perfect for a garden wedding.

I love photo-booths, this neutral backdrop is simple yet stunning.

You know I love me some cocktail adornments. Love.

Escort card display is simple yet elegant and the tissue colors can be coordinated to match your soirees color palette.

Package your favorite treats with these amazing favor boxes. They are perfection.

A playful invitation suite that can be used for any occasion, especially perfect for new years!

While I am completely smitten with this twiggy design I still prefer fresh flowers as a centerpiece  I would instead use this for a dessert or gift table.

A very unique way to fold your napkin and give your table setting an extra pop of color.
