Holiday pajamas are a big gift in our house. I love these ones for boys and these for girls.

Got a little in the big apple? How cute is this coffee cup toy? I also love this NYC block {other cities available here}.

This would have been right up my ally as a kid, a jewelry kit filled with beads to get creative with.

These adorable animal speakers are so cute for a kids room. I think the panda is my favorite.

Who doesn't love a great big coloring book? Especially with scented markers. This colored pencil set is also adorable.

This colorful dome tent is the perfect kid hangout. I am pretty sure I would have hid in there all day with all my toys when I was younger.

I had to include a drone. This one is perfect for the littles to get used to a flying object.

I wish this sweatshirt came in my size. Definitely need.

This ride on scooter converts to a kick scooter as your little grows.

This jacket & doll combo is sweet beyond words.

I am obsessed with these superhero capes for kiddos. Good god they are adorable. Check them all out here.

These Jellycat plush dolls are soft & stylish. The ostrich is my favorite but really they are all cute.

Star Wars bedding for the science fiction addicts.

A bright microscope for the kiddos interested in science. {cheaper version here}

Saw that this dragon was on the hot toy list so scoop it up before its gone!

Got a reader on your hands? This set of the classics is a great way to start a library.

This mouse in a matchbox is too cute for words. Don't get me started on the cigar box set with the mom & dad.

Holiday Gift Guide For The Kiddos

As my nieces get older we are buying less toys but I couldn't resist sharing a few favorites that are sure to make kiddos at all ages happy come Christmas morning...because let's face it, the holidays are meant for kids and nothing is better then seeing them rip through their packages at the speed of light.

Untitled #796

Parents all across the land will likely despise this box of instruments from the incessant noise but kids LOVE to bang things & make music so who are we to deprive them of that happiness?!

Babies can be a challenge since they aren't too much into toys so I picked out this adorable vegetable collection of rattles & monogrammed stroller blanket that are too cute for words.

Laughing is the best...so for the little comedian in your life this box of jokes provides materials for days!

Calling all Star Wars fans, these light sabers are fun for a sword fight & this bedding is just plane awesome.

Keep your kiddo warm with this adorable hat that makes them feel like a superhero & winter boots that happily coordinate.

Fitbit is big among my nieces, I love that they all can get a color that they love.

J.Crew has the absolute best kids pajamas. I wish they came in grown up size. Make the gift extra special with some sparkly slippers.

How adorable are these little dolls made from up cycled cashmere?!

The Magic Eight Ball was such a fun gift when I was a kid. I am not surprised that kids still love it. My littlest niece told me this was on her list to santa.

I die over this pizza slice bag. Its SO good!

My sister in law once that the best gift she could give her girls was the love of reading. These personalized puffin classics not only look great on a shelf but will also help start a great collection of books for your kids.

These hover boards make me so nervous but i have pretty much heard every kid I know ask for them. I would pair it with these matching pads & a helmet.

Good lord I loved having an indoor tent as a kid...mine were not this cool but I absolutely adore this one & love that it comes in a slew of beautiful colors.

Holiday Gift Guide - For The Kiddos

I absolutely love shopping for my nieces year round but the holidays really give me reasoning to go more overboard then usual. However as they get older so does the gift giving, toys suddenly don't have the same appeal and picking out clothes is something they like to do on their own. I still give it the good old college effort and have put together a little round up of gifts for kids of all ages and below that a list of current sales and cute clothing items to score before they are gone on black Friday.
Untitled #706

one - I think I am most excited about this company Budsies that takes your kids art & turns it into a stuffed animal...such a clever way to give something truly unique and treasure your kids doodles.

three - Music is important in everyones lives so why not have an instrument like a guitar or piano that also looks good!
four - A stuffed animal & blanket all in one, perfect for the wee little ones.
five - Being afraid of the dark never looked so good. Is it bad I want one of these chic night light's for my room?
six - Don't you love when toys aren't an eye sore in your home. This little bubble rider is definitely one of them.
seven - For the little saver, these elephant banks would be a great gift with some starter money already in them.
eight - Is there anything better then a fort or a tent when you are a kid? I think not. This airstream inspired tent is sure to make playtime more fun for kids of all ages.
nine - Calling all creative types, get your DIY on with this adorable make your own butterfly.
ten - Babies love their binky's and this one is also has a rattle & clip so it's never lost, win - win.
eleven - A good game of spy is foolproof with this play set.

A Carnival Celebration!

I always have known that my friends knew how to throw a party, especially my friend Lisa who often entertains our large group of friends in her beautiful New England home. So while I shouldn't be surprised by her talented party planning ways I knew this event was going to be over the top awesome when I heard her ideas for her twins fourth birthday party. I immediately asked her if I could share on the blog and lucky me she said yes! When the photos arrived in my inbox, I was blown away from all the creativity and brilliant execution of this festive occasion. A theme and color palette are alway good starting off points for any party but getting it done EXACTLY as you envisioned is a whole other thing. Its safe to say this party was a huge hit with the guest of honors as well as all the lucky kiddos that got to attend.
Just take a look at all the fabulousness below!

Kids need lots of entertainment and these monster tattoo finger puppets will provide lots of fun for them while washing off easily!

Anyone in the family crazy about photography  have some fun with their hobby with this lens mug and cookie holder. {perfect for santa's milk & cookies too}

Mason jars might be all the rage for using as a drinking vessel but for those who still use it to jar homemade treats, these washable labels are super convenient and helpful for marking your goodies.

Save your screens from fingerprints with a sleek stylus for your Apple devices.

I love the idea of keeping a journal on a nightstand for to do lists, creative ideas or just a simple reminder for the next day. This notebook is not only chic with its sweet saying "she makes the day brighter, she leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes" but it's perfectly paired with this sparkly pen and the two together is under $10!

Candy canes always have a home in stockings but why not take the theme a bit further with this delicious smelling body wash and lip balm.

Playing cards just got a heck of alot more chic with these gold metallic beauties.

A giant rubber key to help find those always lost keys {more colors available}.

Charge your phone in style with these patterned & portable chargers, Jcrew has some great styles also.

The classic bocce ball made into a perfectly stocking stuffer sized version.

Cases for glasses are usually the more common than ones for contact lenses, that is until now with this pretty floral printed case for those delicate lenses.
