Nantucket Packing List

In a few weeks we are off for our our annual trip to Nantucket. Out of all the places in the world this little island is my absolute favorite. There are a million things to love about that gray little island, from it's uniformly beautiful town center filled with New England charm, great restaurants, multiple beaches and stunning real estate, it's easy to see why it's so loved from people everywhere. Since we will be there to celebrate the 4th of July my packing list is gravitating towards the patriotic color scheme. I mean after all it is the land of the preppy and all things Americana so I think sticking to the red white and blue will fit the bill perfectly!

Currently Coveting

Despite the chilly temps here in Boston I am in the middle of the tedious process of switching my winter clothing for some lighter fare. While I always find organizing our closet a tad overwhelming it is great to go through your clothing to find what is worth keeping, what you can consign and what you can donate. I also find it helpful to see what is missing in my reportoire. A few things that I am currently coveting to help build the perfect Spring wardrobe is below.



Have you seen Kate Moss for Top Shop? This sparkly boho blouse is one of the few items that isn't sold out! My style muse - Olivia Palermo lives in this pair of distressed denim, therefore I want them.  Little white dresses don't usually last more then a season for me {I spill a lot} so I am on the hunt for a new one. This ladylike number is pretty perfect in my book. My phone wants a new spring outfit too and I beleive this gold flecked cork case fits the bill perfectly. Lulu Frost rocks my world with her deco designs, come warmer weather I gravitate to longer necklaces and this stunner is just the right amount of sparkle to any look, would look especially fabulous over a simple silk blouse. While my aviators are my go to sunglasses, but these navy frames are seriously cool for switching it up. I love bows on my toes and these orange color blocked flats are a fun pop of color. A coverup that doubles as a day time dress, yes please! Navy is definitely my favorite color in Spring & Summer, this ruffle cami would get some serious wear in my wardrobe, love. More sparkle is always a good idea right? I think so...these sandals are everything. A sexy one piece for laying poolside. Lanvin's quilted "happy" bag makes me just that...giddy to be in fact. It's up there with the Chanel boy bag. Finally because it's freezing I had to throw in a killer jacket, isn't everything Burberry designs in outwear just simple perfection? I think so. What's on your shopping wish list???

Weekend Wear - Seaside Glamour

Last weekend while celebrating my cousins birthday at Sunset Beach I got some good people watching in. Besides this little beach resort is the fashion. Everyone down to the little kiddos is dressed to the nines. I personally love the idea of bringing a little sparkle to the beach or poolside and if I had my way I would sport the little ensemble below each and every weekend this summer.

Spring Wish List

While it still feels like the winter here in Boston, the calendar says it's officially Spring! I know I am jonesing to spend more time outside and not have to be bundled up like a toddler everyday. I also have been wanting a major refresh on the wardrobe adding in my favorites warmer weather hues of white, navy, and nudes. I however wouldn't be true to myself if my spring wish list didn't include one all black ensemble like that beachwear below. I love the loose tunic style dress that looks chic without being over the top glamour on the beach. What is on your Spring wish list???

Winter Getaway

Now that Christmas is over and the prettiness of the holidays will be removed from the city, I often find myself dreaming up of warmer climates When my husband and I often talk about our past travels we always agree that St. Barth's was our favorite destination. This petite enchanted island not only has amazing beaches and hotels but incredible dining and shopping too without losing it's caribbean appeal. We loved renting a small convertible and driving to the islands peaks for it's stunning views or sitting on St. Jean's beach to watch the coming and going of the planes. The attire on the island is always chic yet relaxed and from what I shared here, you can get a sense of the the island style. However, if I were packing for a trip to my favorite place on earth, the below would most certainly be in my bag!
