Calling All Tech-Setters

We all rely on our devices quite a bit so don't you think they too deserve a little bit of accessorizing? I recently was gifted the beautiful gold laptop to help make blogging on the go a cinch. I was on the hunt for a case that not only safely housed my new treasured item but one that also looked stylish when I had to carry it around with me as we are often traveling. I absolutely fell in love with the simple leather wrap case {also available in black} seen above & below. It looks like a clutch but keeps my computer perfectly protected when packed and scratch free from my other devices. I put together a few other items that help dress your tech.

Holiday Gift Guide - For The Tech Obsessed

Tech gifts are always big in our house no matter the age of the recipient. As my nieces get older they are more into computers then toys which means gift giving can get a little challenging & expensive. I personally love gifting tech accessories and gadgets, it's always fun to see the person open up a gift that is something they may not have known about. My top picks for gadgets & tech gifts are below, as always at all different price points.

Going For The Gold

Having a husband whose career is based around wireless communications means I am lucky that he always quips me with a great phone. I recently upgraded my mobile to the glamorous gold iPhone and the purchase as had me on the hunt for a coordinating case that doesn't hide the metallic facade of the phone. While I do love a dose of color like on this beauty, I am thinking my white and gold iPhone deserves a well coordinated case, which is your favorite?

DIY - Thinking Outside the Box Clutch

Finding inspiration for blog posts that are worth sharing with you all isn't always easy. Sure you can find something fabulous and expensive and recreate a lower cost version for yourself but I thought I would try to think outside the usual parameters and take my inspiration and create something that resembles the original but serves an entirely different function. When I spotted this clutch on instagram during fashion week, I was seriously smitten. I have always admired the design of a box clutch but especially adored the added sparkle of the rhinestones. While a pricey clutch wasn't in my budget, I thought I would try to recreate the look on something I use every day, my phone.
Check out all the bedazzled details below.

glue // rhinestones {mine were from M&J Trimming but were sew on, non sew on are better} // iPhone cover I used {another version, also here}

1. lay out the rhinestones in desired pattern & photograph that pattern
2. with the photo as your guide, start gluing your first rhinestone in the center then retracing your pattern stone by stone
3. let dry & adhere to your cell phone

The Finished Product
