They say engagement season collides with the holiday season and wedding season starts come the warm weather. So this in between time is the perfect time to celebrate engagements, showers and bachelorettes. I was so happy to receive a call a few weeks ago that a friend from college was recently engaged. I wanted to put together a little gift that celebrates this special time for the bride to be.
I honestly cannot believe it's been almost five years since our wedding. This year we will be celebrating our anniversary at a new destination to both of us, Amangiri Resort in Utah. I am so excited to be in the middle of no where with my love and have some down time just the two of us. Since we love to gift one another little treats on our anniversary we have always tried to stick with the traditional themes assigned to each year of marriage, this year is a real doozy, wood! We originally discussed investing in a tiny house somewhere in New England that could be a retreat away from the city for ourselves. However when we discussed everything we would want in this so called little house, we realized we wanted a whole lot more then a little house could hold.
