shoe savvy

Every Spring I hunt for the perfect nude sandal that can be worn with jeans as well as dresses. While I know exactly what I want, I don't know why it has been nearly impossible to find it in stores. I want something with a modest heel as I walk all around the city in heels and cannot be on stilts, something versatile for day and night as well as the right color tan that will go with everything. Style Muse - Part II - Rachel Bilson

Morning lovelies...today is all about celebrities who get it right when it comes to fashion, remember the first installment of style muse with the gorgeous Olivia Palermo, well today is about another fashionista who consistently is displaying looks that I love! While Rachel Bilson is far from my favorite actress on TV I am definitely a fan of her fashion styling skills. I adored her on The O.C. but I actually really don't care for the show Hart of Dixie. However I always find myself stopping on the channel to see the shows clothing as I think she has a stellar her sense of style. She even has curated some favorites on sites like Piperlime and has her own dinnerware line called Edie Rose.

color combo crush - nude & neon

Nude and neon are so perfectly paired together. I feel so safe when something bold is combined with something neutral. It's like- come on in the water is fine and you don't have to be scared to try a new trend because your not totally leaving your comfort zone. They truly compliment one another in such a way that really makes neon less eighties. When I was growing up neon was all the rage but it was far less sophisticated then today's styles. I remember it was neon on neon all day long and nothing to break up the loud colors. While I am adoring all combination of neon with nudes, I am especially loving them in the three color combos below. The pink being my absolute fav. I think navy, white and any of the below with denim would look super chic and not scream - HERE I AM - LOOK AT ME IN MY NEON!!! Which is your favorite combo???
