It may be Monday but I have nothing but the Fourth of July weekend on my brain. I am so looking forward to head to Shelter Island for some time with my guy and family. Since I tend to overpack no matter where we go (and it completely makes my husband crazy), I am planning my outfits ahead of time and trying to be strategic on what won't take up a lot of space in my weekender. The answer for me is packing one garment outfits like dresses and jumpsuits. Nothing is easier and more comfortable then throwing on a single item and having an instant outfit. I have been living in them this summer for comfort and ease. They translate so well as a day time look as a coverup or comfy outfit doing errands in to swapping out some dressier shoes and clutch for an evening out. To get my favorite look of the summer below I put together two nearly identical outfits at two very different price points.
