One thing our home is missing {besides square footage} is a cheerful burst of color. I am not really quite sure why I shy away from color in my house {and wardrobe}, maybe I am intimidated about making it too trendy or perhaps I am just not that bold with design. I however have a feeling in our next home I will be adding lots of color in our accessories to fill bookshelves, tabletops and especially in art with the help of my friend Amelia of Colour-bloc.

i love me some color! in fact, i think i tend to overdo it when decorating our home... i'll have to scale it back a bit in our next place!
