Belt It Out

Belts are most definitely one of my favorite accessories. They have so many purposes in every ensemble and every season. Whether you are minimizing your waist with a belt at your smallest portion of your body, keeping your jeans perfectly in place on your hips with a casual hip belt or using a skinny belt as decoration over a skirt or jacket, the uses are endless. I personally love how they can cinch in a billowy blouse or boxy dress and enhance the curves of your figure. I also absolute adore wearing them over outwear to give your winter look a bit more of an edge. Check out a few of my favorite styles below and some stylish street inspiration on how to wear your favorite belt with dresses, jackets, jeans and more!

Color Crush - British Racing Green

I remember growing up with what we called "hunter green" was quite possibly the coolest color on the planet. I was confident that every car looked better in this color and that every sweater in my closet be from my beloved J.Crew and in this rich emerald color. So you can imagine how thrilled I am that this color is making a big comeback this fall season from everything from your wardrobe to jewelry to your nails. It even looks ahhhmazing in the the home.  I loved it way back when and I am completely smitten this second time around! I will definitely be adding some of this piney green items in my closet this autumn, will you???

no sleep till brooklyn

When I recently attended The Cream NYC, I was totally in awe of everything stylish and pretty in the world of wedding and event planning. The vendors were beyond kind and generous and really inspired me to follow my dream of having my own celebration and styling business one day,  just as they followed through with their dreams. My first stop at the event was the Morris Kitchen table. There I browsed a beautiful selection of creative home made syrups to use for creating the perfect cocktail or orchestrating a tasty feast. As I was soaking up all the beautiful vintage inspired apothecary bottles in front of me, I noticed that the labels on each bottle can not only be customized to however you wish to use the delicious syrups but are also letter-pressed! I nearly fell to my knees and starting praising this genius duo for such a chic idea,  I seriously die over anything letter-pressed, it's just so old fashioned and beautiful.

The brother and sister duo that started this company has curated a select few syrups with numerous uses from ice cream toppings, to a savory stuffing filling for a Thanksgiving dinner. They even source some of their ingredients from apple orchards in Upstate NY and bottle everything by hand in Brooklyn. Couple that with their unique letter-pressed packaging and you truly have a deliciously crafted item to be enjoyed whenever you wish.  I adore this product and know you will too!

Bauble Crush - Loren Hope

My obsession with Instagram has introduced me to so many great designers out there that I just love to share with you all on this blog. I love supporting small boutiques that aren't your typical brick and mortar retail stores{besides my total obsession with J.Crew of course}. Since I am absolutely smitten with costume jewelry and cannot ever seem to have enough decorating my ensembles with it I would like to introduce another fabulous bauble designer Loren Hope.  Loren's line of stylish designs are hardly new as they have been seen in everything from Lucky Magazine to The Zoe Report.  I adore her use of cabochons, glass beads and semi-precious stones combined with inspiration from vintage pieces with modern elements. Her new fall winter line embraces the trend of art deco which I absolutely adore. Below are a few of my favorites - which are yours???
