Flashback Summer 1990 and tie dye was all the rage??? I remember riding my bike to the five a dime (shout out to Suffolk Stores for all West Islip readers) and buying a few different boxes of Rid dyes and then rubber banding the hell out of some gap t-shirts to create my own work of art in the driveway with a hose a and a bucket. The only problem was my patience. I always took the rubber bands off too soon to see my stylish creation and the colors would all bleed into one another, never mind my hands and usually my white canvas kids would fall victim to the dye and more then just the T-shirt would be ruined. As I am older and hopefully a tad more wiser I will leave the art of tie dyeing to the designers and purchase the goods perfectly streaked, blended & dip dyed so all that is left is styling your work of art clothing. Below are a few looks that I think are to dye for (pun intended).
