When I saw this colorful living room designed by Lindsey Ellis Beaty who is a decorating editor {hello dream job} at Southern Living, I immediately filed it for future use of room to outfit. It's no secret that I love to shop, but what I really love is getting inspiration from all different things I see on the web. For instance I adore all these bright colors combined in one room with with the layered rugs, geometric prints on the window coverings and arm chairs. The white couches keep everything cool and collected without being too busy. It made me think the same color concept of this room in an ensemble would completely work and be a super summery look!
I am in love with this bright coral hue for the summer and what better use then in a comfy maxi dress with blouse top. It's so cheery and works well with so many other colors as displayed in the color block tote. The window coverings reminded me of color blocking which brought me to that fab pink, coral & tangerine tote for everyday errands. The DVF gold sandals with the jute wedge reminded me of the gold accents in the arm chairs and the jute rug which is perfectly layered with the white cowhide which is why I tied in the white J.Crew bubble necklace into the ensemble. A simple cocktail ring adds the perfect pop of color like the turquoise vases and pillows in the room. What do you think - would you wear this outfit???
