I have always had a love for poncho/cape style sweaters {exhibit a, b & c}. I love how they feel like a cozy blanket wrapped around but at the same time your look is pulled together. I always pair my oversized sweaters with super soft skinny denim {to keep the comfy factor in place} and a great shoe to avoid looking frumpy. I find a poncho with a detail on it like a great toggle closure, tie wast or zipper closure helps from keeping the top looking like maternity wear. I recently wore this sweater {seen here} on a shopping outing with my nieces and was paid quite a few compliments throughout the day of which inspired this weekend wear post.
