Well hello Friday, its nice to see you! I am off to Shelter Island again to see my family for a fun day in the sun with my cousins, aunts and uncle who I never get to see since we all have such busy lives. I couldn't be more excited to take it easy {minus the physique 57 class I have scheduled for Saturday AM}. Here are a few things that caught my interest from around the web this week. I hope you have a fabulous and fun weekend!!!
one. One of my favorite instagram accounts is that of JL Designs. I adore her floral design and creative concepts in event decor. Her work is stunning and if I were on the West Coast I would surely hire her in a hot second for any soiree I was hosting.
two. This DIY is something I hope to try to store lots of pretty throws. I would love to use with this type of basket so the blankets could casually overflow for our guests to grab & get comfy with in our home.
three. Totally smitten with this Etsy shop. While the painted bowls are totally fabulous. The state napkins are so fun. I would want two sets, one for my current home in Boston & one for where my husband and I grew up in NY.
four. SUPER excited for our fall trip to Quebec, Canada. I am already dreaming of sipping wine here & laying our head to rest here.
five. Things I have been coveting. These earrings with an all black outfit. These skinny jeans with fabulous zipper detail in the back. These boots in black & tan for walking around the city this fall. Finally a killer blazer with leather sleeves to give a bit of an edgier look to my conservative style.
six. I have been working out a friggin ton this summer & have become addicted to green juices. In my mind they help cleanse my system from all the vino I love so much. This new found love is making me want to purchase a juicer {this one was recommended by the juice stand outside physique 57} so I can make at home, I just wish we had the storage/ counter space to support another kitchen gadget.
seven. I am having a total blog crush on the blog A Fabulous Fete. All the DIY's are beautifully executed, photographed and totally unique.
eight. Break out the tissues, this series of photos & videos had me sobbing like a baby.
nine. While in Nantucket I saw a young girl get this bike from her dad to ride home from town alone . It made me feel super nostalgic as I rode my bike everywhere growing up. While she got the neon yellow {which I totally loved} I think I would get the classic navy.
ten. Excited for one of my favorite daily blog reads upcoming collaboration with Gorjana -Griffin.
