Five Things

Some of you may have seen the blogosphere doing a little thing called "five things" where you share a few details about yourself to get to know the person behind the blog. I adored each and every post of some of my favorite blogs that participated. After all I read certain blog more commonly because I like a hint of the personal touch of their life.  They provide a perfect balance of personal details and general lifestyle content to make you feel you know the person your reading about instead of some stranger just blabbing their opinion about everything. So while I wasn't officially "tagged" in anyone's five things post I thought I would give it a whirl to share some things you may or may not know about me! I would love to hear back from those of you who have done this little feature on their own blog!
So let's get to know eachother shall we...

1. I do not like confrontations at all but I am also not scared of them either. I will always stand up for myself or anyone else that I love. This is usually a direct result of reacting too quickly on emotions, something I need to work on to control my stress levels.

2. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist, it's so bad that I get sedated for almost anything other then a cleaning. The last time I went, I was so out of it, I thought the doctor conducting the procedure was my husband. God only knows what I actually said in my medicated daze.

3. I have three tattoos. Two were spontaneous decisions on Spring break and the other was a result of a girls trip to NY freshman year in college. They also match tattoos on some of my best friends. Thankfully they are all hidden and very small.

4. I am about to be out of a job in 30 days and I am silly scared and equally excited about what my next move is. I have been on a serious emotional roller-coaster because of this uncertainty and I am quickly driving my husband crazy. Luckily I married the worlds most supportive man who encourages me to try anything that makes me happy - like this blog.

5. While I don't have kids I do have four beautiful nieces and back in 2009, I took a class on writing children stories.  I wrote a rhyming children's book that I am truly proud of but have yet to try to get it published. This may be my big project this summer!

    1. I think a lot of people have irrational fears of the dentist - it's a terrible place!

  2. That's so cool about the children's books class! And sorry about the job girl; BUT I'm glad you have such a supportive husband on this ride with you!
