Boston - You are my home!

I originally had a DIY set for today but as I sit on my couch writing this post with my eyes filled with tears I knew I needed to talk about todays bombing in our little city. The tragic events that took place during the Boston Marathon has left my heart heavy and scared. This "town" where I live with my husband is also where we dream of owning a home one day and it pains me deeply that it is now tarnished with this terrible tragedy.  I have seen many posts that have said that this will not ruin the spirit of Boston but at the same time I find terrorism so paralyzing that it makes me want to never venture outside again. My heart goes out to the victims along with their families and friends as well as all the medical friends who are taking the best care of these victims. I love you Boston!

  1. Thinking of Boston & victims today. So glad that you and Amelia and beaus are safe.

  2. Boston, the victims and their loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. I totally feel the same way as you. I feel so sad and keep watching the news over and over and over. I have lived here for 10 years and still do and I was standing on Boylston Street just a couple hundred feet from where the second explosion occured so to say I feel lucky is an understatement.

And I feel proud of the first responders and the doctors/nurses and the volunteers, police, FBI and everyone who has been working around the clock since yesterday afternoon to figure out this mess so we can move on :(
