I have recently been asked to plan a birthday celebration for a fabulous friend and I am having the best time gathering all the ideas for her fall fete. I look forward to seeing the outcome of everything put together and sharing it with all of you to hopefully start my own soiree planning business along with the blog {a girl can dream}. The entire process has had my creativity juices blowing up and inspiring me to put together style boards for other events in life to hopefully plan one day. I thought I would share of my favorites with you all for a rustic yet elegant rehearsal dinner featuring neutral colors in decor with an added touch of sparkle!
garland // invite // poms // muslin bag // napkin ring // mercury glass votives // flower box // cocktail
I love picking a color palette based on three colors, for this I was first inspired by these paint colors from house beautiful and worked from there. I couldn't resist having some beautiful garland to adorn a wall in a room and floral like tissue poms to use as decoration around a bland space for an extra pop of color. The sweetest of muslin gift bags to fill with you & your loves favorite goodies to give as a favor and beautiful blossoms in vintage-esque reclaimed wood vases. I simply adore this overall look for it's feminine touches yet only small doses of pink to not scare away the men in our life. I think this style could be easily translated into a beautiful shower for a bride or momma to be as well.
This post wouldn't complete without some beautiful outfit inspiration! I fell in love with this white lace cocktail dress the second I laid yes on it in BCBG and knew I would do something on the blog with it. It is the perfect rehearsal dinner or reception dress for any bride out there!
