Let's face it, the blogosphere get's a lot of attention featuring women who are teeny tiny and look great in a everything they wear. Of course there are a more and more curvy girl fashion blogs breaking the mold {this one & this one are my favorites} yet it seems the designers are still a tad behind on creating fashionable styles for girls who are above a size twelve. The thing about girls with curves is that they don't want to have to hide their bodies. They don't want every article of clothing to be a shapeless sheet of fabric that masks their body and quite frankly makes them look bigger. What they do want is the same clothing styles that are made for straight sizes to be made for them and have them properly fit. I keep reading articles that stylish clothes that accentuate curves, bigger bottoms and less than flat tummies are in high demand for the majority of the female population, yet the designers are slow to pick up the demand. Luckily a few brands have ventured into this territory and I thought I would focus on them and share a few of my favorites because after all is there anything better then a new frock that you feel fabulous in???

ASOS Curve is a wonderful go to for curvy girls offering plus sizes and a plethora of trendy and classic fashions that will take you from a formal affair to casual weekend wear. One of my favorite features of shopping this site is their "runway view" which allows you to see how the item moves and let's you get a closer look before committing to a purchase. A few of my favorite looks are below.
Brands like Mod Cloth offer a Plus Boutique with curvy styles that match their straight sizes and much much more. I personally love that some styles have videos with the models dimensions to help you find the perfect fit for you. Mango has a brand under it's main brand called Violeta for plus sizes up to size 18.
For a more sophisticated look department stores like Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales & Nordstrom often have a women's sizes online more then in they physical store which feature sizes fourteen and up and cover all different price points, looks and higher end designers.
