May Day

Inspired by one of my favorite local blogs See Jane. I decided to create a small arrangement of flowers and leave on a random doorstep in my neighborhood in hopes of passing some happiness along the way. I am pretty lucky to have the life I do and while it's surely not perfect I wouldn't trade it for anyone elses. Feeling this fortunate I thought this was a perfect opportunity to pay it forward and do a random act of kindness for a complete stranger. I am only sharing here on the blog with hopes that it inspires you to do the same!

Happy May Day!

decorative scissors, kraft paper, twine, cardstock all from Paper Source

Starting from the corner roll your kraft paper into a cone shape and seal the edges with some glue to keep the cones shape, let dry and then work on tag.

Cut your tag to your desired size & make a small slit at the top for the string to loop through.

glue the edge of the twine to the cone & wrap around to desired width. use the excess string to tie on the note. I had mine say "may day" on the front & the back saying "do something nice for a stranger today"

all ready to make someone smile

Visit me on Instagram to see where I dropped these beauties off!
