Pillow Talk

When I was dreaming up the redesign of this blog last winter, I looked for inspiration everywhere I could. Whether it was a perfectly color coordinated bunch of pillows or decor from a fabulous wedding, I saved everything that I loved and forwarded it on to my blog designer Danielle Moss so she could get the gist of the overall aesthetic I so badly wanted the blogs look to represent. When I saved these photos pinterest was just a baby and all too often there wasn't original sourcing for the photos. So I would find something I loved but I never knew where the lovely image of darling pillows that I was lusting after came from. That was until this past weekend when I came across the site for interior designer Caitlin Wilson. I nearly died when I saw the image below, the very image I used for my blog color palette inspiration on her page. Not only was the darling image staring right back at me but it lead me on to her incredible portfolio and shop where you can buy her stunning textiles. The best part, each set of patterns are perfectly curated into sets making mixing and matching prints easy breezy, who doesn't love that?!? I am pretty confident the little lovelies below will be coming home with me to Shelter Island. My bedroom there is definitely lacking some pretty pillows and if you know me, you know I have a serious obsession with pillows. Oh and if her portfolio wasn't enough eye candy for you - check out her homes feature on Design Sponge, I am dying over her DIY chairs in the kitchen, who knew Ikea and a sharpie could be so chic!
