Who, What, Wear - Boston Edition

I am always blogging about great little weekend getaways around New England and very rarely mention the city that I live in and all its fabulousness. I thought I would switch up my usual "for the love of the weekend getaway" and write about a stay-cation in the charming little city I call home. Not only will I mention my favorite spots to visit but also give some outfit inspiration on what to wear and who take as your company.
{stay tuned for the shopping guide for all the looks below in part 2}

What to do
{Date Night}
Aragosta Bar & Bistro

Located on the North End's Waterfront (Boston's Little Italy) this hotel restaurant is a favorite in my dining repertoire. The service is always incredible, the staff super nice and the cuisine is top notch. Things that separate this dining establishment from the others is that Chef Daniel's offers healthy lifestyle menu options, lighter cocktail versions {def get the light margarita} and uses organic and seasonal items at every chance they can. If you want the calorie splurge the oxtail bolognese is off the charts {topped with melted brie people - enough said}. If the weather isn't stellar pony up to the chef's bar and get the live show of all the chef and staff happenings with their open kitchen concept.

Who to bring

Indulge in a date night with your favorite person and soak in the beautiful Boston waterfront.

What to wear

Since this restaurant is fairly casual I always opt for a outfit that is comfortable yet stylish which includes wardrobe staples like a blazer that will always make your ensemble looking polished &effortlessly chic. I am particularly smitten with this blush colored number for it's summery color and lightweight material. Spritz on the vanilla perfume to keep your date wanting dessert at home.

What to do
{Cocktails}

Temazcal

Visiting Bostons newest & trendiest neighborhood Fort Point Channel is a no brainer. All the restaurants are on the water and there are a row of great places to dine so a cocktail crawl is cake. I particularly love this Mexican place for their guacamole and of course most importantly the sangria. The bar is in the middle of the restaurant where you can drink your favorite concoction and preview them all on a fun iPad menu {seriously, who doesn't love seeing a photo of what they are about to order}.

Who to bring

It's cocktails for crying out loud, bring anyone who wants to go! I like to bring the most fun, flirty and outgoing people you know. You will never be let down with a cocktail and a good laugh.

What to wear

Whether you prefer day drinking or mingling in the evening this outfit is full-proof. You can mix up the shoes with a stylish thong sandal or a comfortable wedge depending on what time of day your heading out. Since cocktails usually mean your on your tootsies a wedge or a flat will will never let you down in comfort. Keeping your attire neutral shows your classic sense of style and adding pops of neon in the accessories show your fun side. The loose fitting shirt and shorts will keep you cool on a hot summer day/night.

What to do
{Brunch}

Towne Stove & Spirits

If you need another reason to go to brunch besides the fact that its simply awesome, head to Towne for their basket of glazed goodies to start your day {doesn't a mini donut make everything better}. This uber stylish space is fab morning, noon and night but I particularly love for brunch due to their creative menu with items like lemon chiffon pancakes and chicken & waffles.

Who to bring

Gather up the gals and rehash the previous nights debauchery or simply catch up on each-others lives, because let's face it - nothing is better then a great day out with your girls!

What to wear

I love keeping attire easy breezy on this day of rest. I always opt for a dress that is comfortable and quick to style with simple accessories. I like to keep the footwear low key as well as I believe a day time shoe should be comfortable and easy to walk in. You never know when your mimosa haze may lead to a shopping spree.
