flower power

Since the Spring clothes came out mid January I keep noticing all the floral patterns on everything from dresses to sunglasses to shoes.  Some of the designs are simply gorgeous, others not so much. I am totally swooning over the Milly dress below, I think it's so perfect for Easter, a bridal shower or a baby shower. Its so feminine and the print isn't so in yo face flowers. I would pair with a coral cardi and nude shoes and voila - you have the epitome of the perfect Spring look. However some of the floral styles, ahem the trench and the denim below remind me of the 90's a bit too much.  I swear I had those jeans in Jr. High (from Express) and if I didn't, Blossom definitely did! Like any print I always start with small doses and would likely begin with a clutch or a scarf to warm up to the trend. Is this look for you or is it too much???
