mini fashionistas night out

This past weekend my niece Emma turned eight and had every little girls dream birthday party. Even I at 32 wouldn't mind and adult version of this day with my friends. Ever since Emma was born my sister has thrown aaahhhmazing birthday parties for her mini me. Each year she always tops the year before. Well this year was a bit different, Emma told her mom she wanted to keep her birthday small and that her dream party would be cruising around NYC in a limo with a few of her closest friends and what better time of year to go for a ride around the decorated city! I love that her idea of small is a limo cruising down 5th Avenue, we couldn't be more related.

The party plans started with Emma's obsession with Mini Coopers. She loves to build them online and has a few models saved on her parents computer (the hints are starting early for her first car wishes). After some research my sister was able to secure a pink Mini Cooper limo and some manicure appointments for the girls with a few special stops along the way. NYC is the playground for these sweet girls so the options were endless for making it a fab party. Here is how it all went down...

Emma was blindfolded leaving her apartment and presented with her ride for the evening

followed with picking up her closest friends
(can we note their oh so stylish outfits - totally swooning over the fab ensembles below)

after cruising 5th avenue singing Christmas carols and wishing people on the street Happy Holidays manis were in order

the birthday girl chose an electric blue polish named "boxed seats" with a sparkle top coat to coordinate with her navy sequin dress - so stylish

dessert before dinner called for a sugar stop at the worlds best candy store

ending with dinner at one of Emma's favorite restaurants

Happy Birthday Emma - We love you!
