HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I always find orange and black particularly difficult to wear together without it screaming Halloween. That was until I saw the below image of Chiara from the famous blog The Blonde Salad. While scuba material isn't my favorite because of it's stiff silhouettes, I do adore this look with its high low hem and oversized collar is perfectly paired with an all black outfit. The details of the black exposed zipper and the orange inner sole of those fab sandals tie the look together without being too matchy matchy. You can get the sources on the link below for the original outfit details or you can shop my look for less below. Happy Halloween!!!

Love & Las Vegas

Back in the Bean fresh from a fabulous wedding in beautiful Napa Valley for one of my dearest friends. Everything from the al fresco ceremony, the candlelit barrel room reception and of course the beautiful bride and groom made this a perfect wedding. Upon our arrival back in Boston, I was saying goodbye to one my friends and said, "another wedding down, two more to go!" It made me think about the next wedding of another friend that approaching quickly, one that will take place in Las Vegas! It had me thinking how would you throw a wedding that is still stylish yet true to the city

A black and white photo of you and your new husband under the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign is an incredible photo opportunity and keepsake for your wedding album! Another fabulous place is the Neon Boneyard to get some truly unique photographs.

Send a unique save the date with a fun scratch off to reserve the date for your special day!

Who says Las Vegas invites need to be all casino themed and in the traditional red and black colors??? Not this gal, I love this skyline invite for it's bright colors, simple design and nod to kitch without being over the top themed.

Be gone all traditional guests books instead have your guests sign a print of the state where you got hitched. I adore the heart over the area where you tied the knot!

For-go favors and welcome your guests with totes featuring the events of the wedding mapped out with your favorite Vegas places and filled with your favorite treats and aspirin of course! {want to keep the tote contents Vegas themed??? include playing cards, chocolate coins, dice etc.}

Create a home made photo booth area for you and your guests to have a few laughs upon your return back home.

I love the idea of a cocktail dress for Vegas nuptials. I would accessorize the hell out of this little number to make it full on bridal without having to spend a fortune, the entire look below is under $1,000 and doesn't look it!

Leather Details

There is no news flash that leather is huge this Fall. Whether you're rocking the real deal or faux. This look is hitting every item in the wardrobe.  I adore the material as it's super versatile ability to work with so many other fabrics like denim, chiffons, silks etc. Especially loving it layered with fur! While I already shared my admiration for the leather dress, I also wanted to show some other items that give just a hint of leather in the details. The leather sleeve seems to be the most popular as it's available in everything from tops to outwear. However other more discreet details exhibiting leather like a panel on the shoulder or a deep v neck are great ways to take baby steps into the trend. Some of my favorites are below - what are yours???

Bad Ass Boots

Last winter my sister purchased some biker boots and while I wasn't quite sure about this edgy look when I saw them on her I was totally in love with them and having boot envy. Since then I keep seeing these biker boots popping up everywhere I turn so I investigated a bit more and found a few of my favorites to share with you all. I seriously cannot believe Dr. Martin's are back in style, what's next Z.Cavaricci's??? Is this style for you or is it too rough around the edges???

You had me at Holiday Catalog

I would like to start off this post with a disclaimer; I am not prego and no I don't have babies on the brain just because I am writing about things for children again. I just can't take when I see something SO GOOD. I knew when I received the Restoration Hardware Baby & Child Holiday catalog I had to share it with you all.  I usually toss away so many mags that don't pertain to my current lifestyle but I usually cant resist anything holidays so I started perusing the glossy pages and knew this one had to be shared with you all! I swear if there was ever a reason to have children {besides my beloved Crew Cuts of course} this seriously would be it. Take a looksee for yourself!

Imagine this is your sons play room, which whip shall we drive today???

My four nieces NEED these faux fur booties STAT

I mean seriously - cuteness overload.

what kid doesn't love a tent, I usually had to make mine out of the couch cushions & blankets

the prettiest of pretty wall art for a little girls room. I am OBSESSED with these paper dresses, I guess good art is expensive for a reason!

Tigress Sleeping Bag - Does this come in adult size? I NEED!

Don't even get me started on anything that is elephant. I frigging love everything with elephant. It's a problem.

Love these leather & glitter charm bracelets, so flipping cute for the little ladies!

What little one doesn't need a crown to be reminded how fabulous they are!

This "play" furniture is TOO good - I would seriously use that table for a desk if I didn't have to kneel at it.

The faux fur line is off the charts. Every single piece is redonk.

OK so this bedding is for a child but I would seriously use in cabin or lake house. I mean adorable moose with perfectly paired plaid & faux fur. Its brilliant!

The perfect little boys room {in my opinion of course}

Cross My Heart

I used to tease my mom about her go to style of only wearing a cross body purse. I never understood why she refused to try another style or go for a large oversized hobo bag like the ones her daughters were obsessed with. Now that I live in the city, I am eating my words and cannot get enough of this style. I can wrap it over my ensemble to keep my hands free for carrying groceries, shopping or keeping my paws in my pockets in the cooler months. I also adore this convenience for going out, allowing me to keep my hands on my cocktail and not having to worry about a place to put down my bag {or getting stolen} while dancing or mingling. I selected a few looks at some great price points, that are both functional and stylish in a slew of colors...Which is your favorite???
